Today is the 15th

So- today marks the official due date of my child. As of right now, there is no child here to speak of. Well, there is no child outside my body. I can tell you that this creature has dropped and is getting ready to make it's appearance. That thought reminds me of the scene from Space Balls when the alien comes out of that robot and it is singing. Anyway, it makes me laugh. However, the thing that is not so funny is trying to walk with a child lodged between your thighs getting ready to drop out of your body any time. I do have a feeling that this kid is gonna be here before the end of the week though. Truthfully, I am afraid of getting induced. So, I am hoping that the gods have mercy on me and let me continue this without any interventions that may require a speculum, knitting hook (to break my water), my doctor's hand(which always makes me feel like a puppet) and/or the dreaded Pictocin that I keep hearing about.

Being pregnant during this month has actually been funny. I have learned that everyone and their grandmother has a birthday in October and said people express the desire to have the babies birthday coincide with theirs. Also, my good friends wedding anniversary is today and they wanted the baby to get in that action as well. I really don't care either way, as long as I can still have a Libra I am a happy camper. Sorry all you Scorpios out there. I have bad some war stories with Scorpios. Whatever the universe throws us, we will gladly accept. I am sure there are lovely Scorpios out there. :) In the mean tine, wish us luck because life as we know it will come to an end- so everyone keeps telling us.

Again, Happy Anniversary to Gabe and Cindy!
